Born on the 9th January 1998 in Windhoek, Namibia.At 13, Olavi became well known to society as a TV Presenter in 2011 for the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) on the famous Frenzy Special programme. Which saw him hold talk shows aimed to motivate teenagers on life challenging issues. The same year he developed a passion for politics.Joined the Model United Nations (MUN) conference, debating and advocating for major international crisis as the other participants and himself sat in the shoes of leaders across the world. He returned to national TV in 2013, this time as a Senior News Reporter on the "Children’s News Bulletin". He Identified his love for the connection media created with youth, and became aware of how many did not occupy access to the life changing shows that he hosted, which motivated him to become an inspirational writer through the "Youthpaper" in the daily national newspaper "The Namibian". Mainly focusing on articles that aimed to diminish the short-lived evil pleasures of life and motivate readers to chase dreams and invest in their ambitions as they should understand their masters of their own future.He started operating his own Multimedia company (OMI-Olavi Multimedia Investment) which caters for Photography, Music and other multimedia needs like Business Cards and Logo designs as well as Tent Rentals etc. This opportunity allowed him to offer quality services for the cheapest prices in Namibian.
He filled huge shoes by becoming the first ever elected Junior SADC Tourism Minister (2014). A crown he obtained by qualifying into the top six of a competition that required him to write a thousand-word essay titled: "What my government should do to become the best green destination in the world". Making it into top six amongst teenagers from five other SADC member states including South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia. He was victorious when he later battled out in a heated debate as to why he should be the leader they are looking for. Being the Junior SADC Tourism Minister under the SADC Tourism promotion body; RETOSA. Involved him in advocating, promoting and creating awareness of the significance of tourism mainly amongst youth in SADC. In April 2014, he was appointed the first youngest Youth Ambassador for the National Youth Council of Namibia. He immediately became the driving force of the first-ever national youth lifestyle card that offered discounts in almost all Namibian retails for any Namibian youth citizen who possessed it. This platform he fully utilized to visit orphan homes to hand out constitutions and educate children on the significance of their own countries future. It allowed him to convey ambassadorship to the only and biggest ‘Youth in Business expo’ that Namibia has to offer. He joined the SPYL of Namibias Leading party,and has been an active member ever since.In 2015, he became the beneficiary of a scholarship to study his IB Diploma in the USA.
